Prepare for future support

Advance Care Registration

Make a connection before you need more support.

Advance Care Registration connects you with Elder Caring Inc. before a change in health makes decisions urgent. It is designed for people aging on their own, those whose family lives far away, and those who want professional support without placing all the responsibility on someone close to them.

Who this is for

For solo seniors, people without family nearby, and anyone who prefers to plan ahead rather than feel they are burdening loved ones. Attorneys and professional advisors can also help a client explore registration.

The support

What we help you understand.

01

Start with your circumstances

Elder Caring Inc. gets to know your health history, preferences and the people involved in your plans. An intake and consent process establishes a clinical file and a starting point for future guidance, including a virtual health-history conversation.

02

Keep the connection current

An annual review helps keep your circumstances and plans current. Discuss the included professional time, annual fee and process for updating your information with Elder Caring Inc. before registering.

03

Work alongside the people you choose

With your consent, ECI can provide care guidance alongside your attorney for personal care and the people you choose. Agree the role and permissions explicitly; registration itself does not appoint ECI as your legal decision-maker.

Getting started

A clear scope from the outset.

  1. 01

    Talk through your plans

Tell us why you are considering registration and who is involved in your future care planning.

  2. 02

    Confirm the arrangement

Discuss eligibility, consent, included support, fees and what happens if additional services are needed.

  3. 03

    Establish your connection

Complete the agreed intake and review process so the team has a starting point for future conversations.

Before you decide

Your questions, answered.

How is this different from Advanced Wellness Planning?

Advanced Wellness Planning is the conversation about future preferences and support. Advance Care Registration establishes an ongoing arrangement with ECI. The team can help you decide whether either or both fit your circumstances.

Does registration include all future care services?

Discuss the included services and time with ECI before registering. Additional assessments, care management or hands-on care may require separate arrangements and fees.

Can I purchase registration online?

Start with a conversation so ECI can explain the current arrangement and whether it meets your needs. Registration is not purchased through the introductory consultation checkout.
