An ongoing connection

Wellness monitoring

Stay connected to how things are going.

When family members live at a distance, or a professional manages someone’s affairs, it can be difficult to understand their everyday circumstances. Wellness monitoring provides an agreed pattern of visits and updates through ECI’s care-management services.

Who this is for

For older adults who would benefit from regular professional contact, families who cannot be there in person, and trust officers or other advisors arranging support with appropriate permissions.

The support

What we help you understand.

01

Regular contact with a purpose

Agree what the visits will focus on, how often they will take place and what changes or concerns should be brought to the care manager’s attention.

02

Updates to the right people

Discuss who should receive written updates and the permissions needed to share them. The reporting arrangement is tailored to the agreed engagement.

03

Support as circumstances change

If visits identify a need for different support, the care manager can discuss the options and coordination required. Monitoring is not an emergency-response or continuous-supervision service.

Getting started

A clear scope from the outset.

  1. 01

    Explain the situation

Tell us who needs support, where they live and what you would like to understand through regular contact.

  2. 02

    Agree visits and reporting

Confirm the scope, frequency, contacts, permissions and fees before visits begin.

  3. 03

    Review changing needs

Use the agreed updates to discuss whether the current support remains appropriate.

Before you decide

Your questions, answered.

Can this help when family lives elsewhere?

Yes. Discuss the person’s circumstances and the support already in place with ECI. Visits and updates are agreed with the appropriate permissions.

Can a trust officer arrange monitoring?

ECI works with financial and trust professionals. The initial conversation establishes the need, the parties involved and the appropriate engagement and consent arrangements.

How often will visits happen?

Frequency is agreed according to the engagement. Contact ECI about current availability, the type of support needed and fees.
